Right to Information forms one of the most important rights to ensure a strong democratic system. The right springs from the very notion of democracy and acknowledges the primary right of the citizen to know, without having to justify why the information is needed and how the information is intended to be used. The right, however is meaningful only if used by citizens. Or else it will remain a dead letter.
